SUMMARY:University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School
DESCRIPTION:Crack the Case Level 1/2 HybridSchedule: Friday\, September 11\, 8:30am – 5:00pm ET\nLunch and comfort breaks will be provided \nRoom Location: McColl Building\, Koury Auditorium \nCase interviews are no longer limited to consulting. Employers in technology\, banking\, healthcare\, marketing\, strategy\, and other fields increasingly use cases to evaluate how you think\, communicate\, and solve unfamiliar business problems. \nThis highly interactive workshop combines the essential foundations of Crack the Case Level 1 with the more advanced practice of Level 2. You will learn how to approach a case with confidence\, move beyond memorized frameworks\, and build the communication\, structuring\, analytical\, and integration skills needed for successful case interviews. \nThroughout the day\, you will participate in drills\, breakout exercises\, role plays\, and live coaching. You will practice structuring case starts\, solving market-sizing questions\, interpreting charts\, and communicating your conclusions clearly. The cases will include more challenging math and additional exhibits. \nYou will learn how to: \n\nBuild case-specific structures instead of relying on generic issue trees\nUse stronger mini-hypotheses and case-specific language\nExtract meaningful insights from charts rather than simply describing the data\nImprove your estimation speed and mental-math confidence\nLead the case with an advisor mindset instead of simply responding to prompts\nSynthesize your thinking clearly and end the case with prioritized recommendations\n\nYou will receive a detailed workbook\, practical feedback throughout the session\, and complimentary access to the Z-Plan platform\, which includes additional cases\, videos\, drills\, and resources you can continue using after the workshop. \nYou will also have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and hear honest\, practical perspectives from Deborah Resnick\, former Director of Professional Development for McKinsey’s Midwest offices. \nCome prepared to participate\, practice\, and strengthen the skills you will need to navigate some of the most challenging interviews of your career! \nSpeaker BioDeborah Resnick\nDeborah Resnick\, trainer and coach with Zintervu\, draws from her past experiences as a top-rated McKinsey consultant\, former Director of Professional Development for McKinsey’s Midwest offices\, and current advisor to corporate clients on people/talent management related issues.  The energy\, unique insights\, honest perspective\, and highly actionable tips Deborah brings to her workshops reflect her extensive experience as an interviewer and intense passion for helping individuals through career transitions.  Don’t miss this opportunity to rapidly build your skills and better understand what differentiates top candidates in this interactive workshop!
